Preparation:

Step 1:
Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise and put it in a pot with the oat milk and water. Add the brown rice and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer the rice, covered, over low heat for about 30 minutes. Stir again and again.
Step 2:
Stir in the oatmeal and cardamom and simmer over low heat for another 15 minutes. Add a little oat milk if necessary. Then remove the pot from the heat and remove the vanilla bean.
Step 3:
Peel and slice the bananas and add to the porridge with maple syrup and coconut flakes.
