Preparation:
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the onion. Parsley wash, shake dry and chop. Coarsely grate the cheese on a grater.
Step 2:
Heat some butter in a frying pan. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent. Deglaze with the cream. Add the chopped parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring everything to the boil briefly. Add half of the cheese and stir well. Fold in the spaetzle.
Step 3:
Grease a baking dish. Pour the spaetzle mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven until the casserole is golden brown.
