Preparation:

Step 1:
Prepare pasta as described on the package.
Step 2:
Roast the walnuts in a frying pan for about 5 minutes, stirring. Parsley wash and shake dry, coarsely chop the leaves. Peel the garlic and coarsely grate the cheese. Coarsely mash nuts, parsley, cheese, garlic and oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3:
Drain the pasta, reserving about 50 ml of the pasta water. Mix pesto, pasta water and pasta well.
